You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction (21 in the United States, or the applicable minimum age elsewhere) to create an account or use Liquor Vault. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Liquor Vault only for its intended purpose — tracking spirit tastings, managing your bar, and engaging with the enthusiast community. You will not post offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content. You will not attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorisation. You will not use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from the service.
User Content
You retain ownership of all content you create in the app, including tasting notes, ratings, bar entries, and cocktail recipes. By using the app you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide our services. We may use aggregated, anonymised data from user activity to improve our recommendations and community features.
Communications and Marketing
When you create an account or contact us, you agree that we may use the email address you provide to send transactional messages (account notifications, security alerts, password resets, support replies) and occasional marketing emails about Liquor Vault — new features and offers we think you’ll enjoy. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing does not affect transactional messages. We do not sell or share your email address with third-party advertisers.
Intellectual Property
The Liquor Vault application, including its design, features, and code, is our intellectual property. Our spirits database is compiled from various sources and is provided for informational purposes. Spirit brand names, labels, and images belong to their respective owners.

Spirit pricing, availability, and product information are provided for reference only and may not be current. We do not guarantee the accuracy of spirit data, ratings, or recommendations. Liquor Vault is not affiliated with any spirit producer or retailer unless explicitly stated.
Limitation of Liability
Liquor Vault is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
